Official data breaking down unemployment by college major per state does not exist publicly.
The figures below are synthesized estimates. They were calculated by taking the known total number of unemployed people in each state (Column 2) and applying the national average trends. The model assumes that roughly 24.5% of all unemployed people hold a degree, and that the distribution of majors (e.g., 18% IT, 22% Arts) is consistent across all states.
