The data on this page is a multi-layered statistical estimate. Official government data for unemployment by college major at the city level DOES NOT EXIST.

These figures are generated by a model. The model first estimates the total unemployed in each city based on population proportions, and then applies national averages for graduate unemployment and field distribution. This assumes trends are uniform everywhere, which is not true in reality. This page should be used for illustrative and exploratory purposes only.
